Welcome and thanks for your interest...
I was among the first art students to use video at Antioch College and the California Institute of the Arts (BFA, 1971). During the early 1970's I collaborated with many dancers including Lucinda Childs, Simone Forti, and Daniel Nagrin's Workgroup. I wrote about the early days of Video Art in a regular column published in Changes in the Arts Magazine; curated several exhibitions at the Kitchen and other places; and had one of the first artist shows on public access cable television. Since 1981, I've been teaching Video, Installation, and Conceptual Art courses at Ramapo College, NJ.
This website provides links to recent digital films, examples of digital prints, and writings about work.

Go to: http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/2844853 to purchase paperback or hardcover edition of Confessions of a Certifiable Videot by Shalom Gorewitz. It's shocking and entertaining especially about the early days of video art.
